KBG had another great networking luncheon held August 28th at the Good Samaritan, Pohai Nani. The group was interested to hear from Rachel Fukumoto, an Energy Advisor of the Hawaii Energy company about the goals and operations the state’s energy efficiency and conservation program. Rachel collaborates with multifamily properties to implement their smart energy choices to save money, increase property values and improve tenant comfort. Since 2018, she has also been overseeing the Energy Advantage program which provides enhanced rebates and turnkey assistance to underserved small businesses and community members. Born and raised on Oahu, Rachel is driven to advocate for Hawaii’s 100% clean energy goals and strives to best serve island families.
