We are excited to announce that registration is now open for our next luncheon on May 25th at 11:30am at Big City Diner, Windward Mall featuring our guest speaker: Chanceller Ardis Eschenberg, PhD. from Windward Community College. Discussing a range of topics including: Innovative degree and certificate programs such as Agripharmatech, Ahupuaʻa Systems, Creative Media, Entrepreneurship, Sustainable Agriculture, and Veterinary Technology. Workforce development training in Business and Computer Technologies, CNA, Hawaii Ocean Education. How businesses can partner with WCC including becoming a college student friendly employer.
The topics discussed and program detailed for the membership. Ardis presented all the new and updated programs being developed using COVD Grant money and additional fundraising by Castle Foundation.
Ho’olei Tuition Program Award. All Highschool graduates are eligible for the new scholarship program – 1st year of Windward CC tuition paid for.
Meals on a Mission. Helping students with free meals each week. Up-to 4-meals per classmate.
Child Care Center. Hanaiaulu Children’s Center. Help students with childcare for class times.
College Friendly Workplace. Assistance in job opportunities for enrolled college students. 20-30 paid hours a week.
Job Fair coming in August just priorate the WCC fall semester opening. Information coming soon.
