The Kaneohe Business Group gives a big thank you to Dr. Ann Elizabeth W. Card for a great speech at our latest monthly luncheon. Dr. AnnElizabeth W. Card began her career in the Bureau of Prisons career in 2001 at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) in Beckley, West Virginia.  She served as a Residential Drug Abuse Program Coordinator at both the satellite camp and the FCI.  Next, in 2003, she transferred closer to home to be the Cuban Drug Abuse Program Coordinator at FCI Englewood, CO.  In 2008, she was selected as a Forensic Unit Psychologist at the Federal Detention Center (FDC) in SeaTac, WA. In 2009, Dr. Card was promoted to serve as the Complex Chief Psychologist at the Federal Correctional Complex in Beaumont, TX.  In 2011, she returned to FCI Beckley, WV, as the Chief Psychologist where she worked until March 2016 when she transferred FCI Waseca, MN in the position of Associate Warden.  On November 12, 2017, she transferred to serve as an Associate Warden at FDC Honolulu, HI.

She graduated from Earlham College in Richmond, Indiana and completed her Ph.D. at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Immediately prior to her career with the Bureau of Prisons, she was an Assistant Professor at West Virginia State University, an HBCU.
