Aloha Membership.

On behalf of Windward Community College and Chancellor Ardis Eschenberg, we are announcing a new Business Core program with direct transfer to Shidler College of Business starting this fall. What a great opportunity for our young people and those looking for a career change or upgrade. Plus, thereʻs money for college! We would appreciate any mention you are willing to give on the KBG website and general email announcements. I have included an image and text for your consideration.

Strengthen your business core at Windward Community College, then transfer to UH Shidler College of Business to finish your bachelor’s degree. Business Core is a 2-year pathway with focused online classes in an accelerated format: two classes at a time/8-week classes providing students with a solid foundation in accounting, economics, business law, business math, communications and more… designed to fit into busy schedules.

For more information, call 808-235-7460 or visit: the Windward CC website.
And don’t forget, there’s money for college!

Windward area high school graduating seniors: Get 6 credits of tuition paid each semester for the first year through the Ho‘olei Scholarship and apply to Windward CC with the quick and easy Kama‘āina Application. Campus employment is also available.

Furloughed or unemployed? Apply for the $500 Kūlia Scholarship.

Native Hawaiian students living on the mainland may be eligible for in-state tuition. For more information on financial assistance, email wccfao@hawaii.edu.

Internship Program

Businesses, need an intern? Please support up-and-coming WCC business students through internships. Call Career & Transfer Counselor Ha‘aheo (Justin) Pagan at 808-235-7460 to get involved.

In addition, we are creating a bank of companies that can offer internship opportunities (paid or unpaid). Please encourage our KBG membership to think about how they can support up-and-coming WCC business students through internships. I will be sending more information about how they can get involved soon.

Mahalo and have a wonderful day!
