George Carlson, RPP, MTh, is a certified neurofeedback technician, and trained energy therapist. In New York City he taught Tai Chi and martial arts in addition to his practice as a registered polarity practitioner and licensed massage therapist. His understanding of energy principles deepens his ability to help clients utilize bio and neurofeedback techniques to reach their goals. In Hawaii he has worked with children with Autism, Aspergers, and serious behavioral concerns, and has recently completed course work leading to the Certificate in Substance Abuse Counseling. Spending 20 years away from the islands, she has worked in travel industry management, sales and marketing, newspaper editing, professional development training and human resources.
Sue became a licensed health insurance agent in 2018 after looking into Medicare for her future retirement. She believes in going the extra mile to serve clients and considers it a privilege to help Medicare beneficiaries.
Sue teaches yoga and myofascia rolling classes in her free time, and enjoys SUP in Kāneʻohe Bay. She is a member of First Presbyterian Koʻolau and a contributing writer for Kāneʻohe Magazine.

The purpose of Second Helpings Hawaii is to assist women in transition who seek mentoring, counseling, rehabilitative services and employment opportunities upon the completion of their prison sentences and re-entry back into society.
Our Vision Statement:
“Successful ‘re-integration’ into the community thru faith-based support, mentoring and employment.”
Our “Second Helpings Hawaii” food truck provides a means for women to earn income and job skills from the management of every aspect of the operation. Profits from the food truck are re-allocated to supplement salaries and pay operating expenses. Additionally, grants and regular donations aid in raising the necessary funds to support “Second Helpings Hawaii.”
“Second Helpings Hawaii” is a nonprofit, 501(c)3 organization.
